It's taken a lot of time and hard work, but I'm pleased to announce my line of Audio CDs and audio files are available once again via Create Space/Amazon.com. At the moment "Spin A Little Web Of Dreams: Sweet Bands on the ARC Labels 1931-1935 Vol. 1" and "Pop Goes Your Heart: Sweet Bands on the ARC Labels 1932-1935 Vol. 2" are available for purchase. They are reasonably priced and can be sent anywhere in the world. Please click on the "Audio CDs And MP3s" link in the menu to see all the info about these two great releases!
It *was* there until just a few days ago - I've just discovered that *everything* is gone. Of course I have all of the artwork and audio files backed-up, so it's not the end of the world. I will research other "CD-On-Demand" services and see if anyone has anything better. The audio CDs will be back, and if you absolutely cannot wait, please contact me and I'll see about creating them myself...
I'm still, working quietly in the background... I know it's been quiet here but that'll change soon...
A number of folks have asked if my series of audio and MP3 CDs were still available and frankly, I didn't know! When I shut down the old site, I didn't give a whit about making my stuff available to anyone - I simply didn't want to even think about it.
Fresh off the scanner: the rather rare "joe Tarto's Modern Method for Improvisation for the Tuba & Double Bass" from 1926. It's great stuff, and be sure to check out the listing of other books on the inside back cover...
Added "50 Hot Breaks For Alto Saxophone" (1926) by Jack Pettis to the Vintage Image galleries. It's a mighty thin book, and I wonder if aspiring hot saxophonists thought they got their 50-cent's worth! In any case, here it is in all its glory...
According to my logs, I have a fairly substantial number of people coming to the website every day - I can't imagine why!
