  • New Tech Kites - These guys make single, dual, and quad line kites, as well as other wind art.
  • Premier Kites - Check out some funky and unique kites and wind art.
  • Prism - I highly recommend the online tutorial for dual-line kites.

How-To Sites:

  • GWTW Books Online - "Put the Wind in Your Hands: Getting started flying a two line stunt kite" and "Flying the Rev and How to do it" by Bill and Kim Taylor are offered online in PDF format.
  • Into The Wind Kites 101 - Information concerning traditional (single-line kites) and stunt (dual-line kites) kites.
  • Kite Flying Basics - "A collection of descriptions that should make clear how to perform some basic moves, and a lot of tricks." This is a long PDF file that was originally posted on Rec.Kites and is here for permanent viewing.
  • Kevin's Kite-oons - Not a how-to site, per se, but definately worth some laughs as you'll soon understand these cartoons all too well!
  • KiteLife.com - Online kite magazine with extensive archives.
  • Prism - I highly recommend the online animated tutorial for dual-line kites.
  • Ray Bethell - Ok, not a how-ti site, but you're going to hear this name a lot! Ray is the "Multiple Kite World Champion" and a living legend in the kite world.
  • Reed Design International Sport Kite Compulsories Book - Awesome animations show you what is expected in competitions.
  • Reed Design Kite Tricks - Incredible animations show you what happens (or is supposed to happen) during some of the most commonly practiced and performed tricks.
