Kite Bag: Meet My Kites!
Single Line Kites:
SLK's were where many of us started our attraction to kites. I still
enjoy flying SLK's, and boy are there a lot of really cool kites to choose
from these days! Here are some that my husband and I have purchased because
we couldn't resist (I swear, they jumped in the shopping cart all by themselves!).
Some of these are on display in our house either because we really find
them attractive, or they were just too impossible to assemble and disassemble
each time!

(Not my pic, I know where the spinner belongs!)

Bi-Plane: Stable flier, but I don't know who
created this wind range. It can generate quite a pull and would
probably self-destruct if flown in winds that high! (45"
x 45"; 7 - 18 mph; don't remember manufacturer)
|
Spin Box: Flies at this angle in the sky. Very
pretty to watch and very gentle pull. Has a tendency to easily
tangle up with other kites when releasing or retracting line.
(36" x 36"; 7 - 18 mph; by X Kites)
|
Flying Ship: Attention grabber! I really didn't
think this one would fly. I keep this one permanently assembled
because it is very difficult to put together. (30" x
26" x 26"; 7 - 18 mph; by X Kites)

Q Box: Very nice kite! Tumbles if you pull on
the line and then give it slack. Gentle and stable flier, very
pretty in the sunshine. (33" x 25"; 7 - 20 mph;
by New Tech Kites)
|
Twin Birds: Neat concept, two kites sharing
the same fly line, but one tail rod broke in shipping and hasn't
been replaced yet. (33" x 28"; 5 - 20mph; by HQ)
|
Star of Texas: This kite has impressed me because
it is so simple to put together, flies like a champ, and is stunning
in the sun. (45" x 45" x 10"; 6 - 20 mph; by
New Tech Kites)
