"The Weather" by the Littles of TWCrew
Sometimes the weather is cold outside
And I must wear my coat and boots
to stay warm.
Sometimes the weather is warm outside
And I can wear my shorts and go
barefoot in the grass.
Sometimes the weather is wet outside
And I must take my umbrella, but I
can jump in puddles too.

Sometimes I am like the weather.
Sometimes I feel sad inside
And I want to cry.
Sometimes I feel cold inside
And I want to be hugged.
Sometimes I feel happy inside
And I want to play and draw.

Sometimes other people are like the weather too.
Sometimes people feel scared
And they have to make themselves feel safe.
Sometimes people are angry
And they say things loud.
Sometimes people are lonely
And they want a friend nearby.

Sometimes I don't like the weather
But I know that it sometimes
has to be the way it is.
Sometimes I don't like myself
But I know that it's ok
because I can change myself.
Sometimes I don't like other people
But I know it's ok
because maybe they have to be that way
or maybe they are trying to change
or maybe they like the way they are.

So everytime I see the weather,
or I look inside,
or I look at other people,
I smile and remind myself
That we are all like the weather.
Sometimes we have to be the way we are,
Sometimes we can change the way we are,
And sometime we like the way we are.

Sometimes, though, I just go outside and play!
