Things look pretty normal from the ourside. A littler girl with a bear visitng her maternal grandparents. A little girl caught in the middle of saying something at her paternal grandparents house.

Little would anyone have ever guessed that the first little girl was known as Emalee, and the second as Jynnifer.

One thing we rarely were able to do was get a picture with our father in it. Someone snapped this picture and caught him a bit off guard. It's a bit more "realistic" and "normal" for the person we knew as Dad... unlike the posed family portraits.
